Ice-Waterfall Climbing

A one-week waterfall climbing workshop will be held in February in the Gressoney, Cogne (probably the best location in Italy), or Alagna valleys.

We will develop the fundamentals and advanced technique of modern ice climbing and, conditions permitting, ascend many of the one hundred 200 to 1000-ft waterfalls of northern Italy.

Lodging will be in mountain huts and family run hotels in the valley. A minimum of 2 clients and maximum of 4 required. Personal gear required: Crampons two technical ice axes, helmet and harness.
